COMMUNICATIONS LakeTalk LakeTalk is the monthly publication of the LLA and has been published since 1996 . Residents can publish classified items for free in a regular column called “ Trading Post .” Traditional business advertising is also available for a fee . See page 10 for more information . LLA Email Notifications Email notifications are used to keep residents informed of emergencies ( i . e ., weather event and road closures ), official communication ( i . e ., Board of Directors meetings and project updates ) that impact the community , compliance violations , and more . All email addresses are kept confidential , and residents can opt-out of official communication at any time .

COMMUNITY CALENDAR
LLA maintains a community calendar for residents to review upcoming meetings and events in the community . The calendar is available in your Membership Account .
COMPLAINTS
Any complaints or concerns about village infrastructure , common grounds areas , amenities , compliance issues , etc ., should be directed to your Village Manager . It is important to put your grievance / concern in writing . This can be completed in your Member Account by submitting a “ new ” application or request .
COMMITTEES Village Committees
Village committees are comprised of volunteers who act as representatives for their respective villages to plan village social events and discuss ideas for village improvements to bring the LLA Board of Directors on behalf of their neighbors .
BoD Chartered Committees / Interest Groups / Social Clubs Several committees work on areas important to the BoD for research , information , policy recommendations , etc . For more information and a list of standing LLA Committees reference a current issue of LakeTalk or LLA ’ s website .
