10 Chairman’s Report Special mention again to Jacobus with his views and drafting of objections. We have had a few meetings with M&T to try and negotiate and discuss the devel- opments, on all occasions, they believe in the objection and tribunals and pro- cesses and say that nothing will happen until the procedures setup by council have run their course. I would like to thank my fellow directors and their committee members, and their families for giving up their time, their commitment and their dedication to make Lakeside a great place to live. We had a list of projects that we wanted to complete this year, but due to cir- cumstances mentioned we have had to move them into our reserves and move the projects into next year. Keep a lookout for lots of developments coming in the next year. Special mention and thanks to my team of directors for assisting in keeping Lakeside Great! • Dennin Smith – Vice Chairman • Zabeth Zuhlsdorff – Rand Aid Association • Neville Stone – Security • Cedric Muller – Finance and Admin • Peter Channing – Social • Alasdair Forsyth – Environmental & Architectural • Sonya van Es – Office Before I close I would like to thank each and every one of our residents who make our village a great place that we can all call home, Thank you for paying your levies on time, donating prizes and being neighborly.
