Thornhill Manor hall gets an upgrade
Facilities at the main hall in Thornhill Manor are on the up-and-up. The some-
what inadequate kitchen facilities are being greatly enlarged and modernised and
the similarly inadequate number of toilets is also being attended to.
These improvements will allow for proper catering facilities and enough toilets to
enable the hall to be far better utilised for more upmarket functions and events.
In order to do these
improvements, it was
needed to extend the
old kitchen and toilets
which are on the first
floor alongside the hall.
This meant that there
was an area below, on
the ground floor, that
could be developed at
relatively small cost.
Here, much needed
toilets and change

vided as the location

which will be large
enough to cater for a full-sized table. This means that the village enthusiasts will
no longer have to travel to sister villages at Inyoni Creek and Elphin Lodge to get
a game.
Work on the alterations and additions is expected to be complete by mid-month
and the transformed hall should be usable by then.
Thornhill Manor management, staff and residents wish all those celebrating a
merry and blessed Christmas and health and happiness in the New Year.
