o one will take care of your body like you—it’s where you live, your
“earth house.” You are the caretaker, responsible for all cleaning and
maintenance. Clean it up! Clean it out! It is an inside job.
In biblical times, fasting was used as the means of clearing the mind during
the time of important decision making (II Chronicles 20:1-8). It still works,
possessing spiritual, physical, and therapeutic value as a means of cleaning
spirit, soul, and body.
Fasting is a deep-cleaning of every room, closet, drawer, nook, and cranny
in the body. It cleanses the intestines, stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas,
and kidneys (causing organs to repair and restore themselves). Fasting
cleans toxins from the circulatory system, blood, and lymphatic system, making room for something new, fresh, and healthy. It is a form of detoxification
from overeating, consuming harmful drugs, exposure to chemicals in our
foods and environment, unhealthy fats, and cholesterol. Fasting is the greatest of all detoxifiers!
Working from the inside out, you can jumpstart to healthy living, increase
good cholesterol, see blood sugar stabilize, bad cholesterol levels drop
