By helping to maintain clean and healthy living environments, this program is designed to support registered individuals as they remain independent in their own homes. Light housekeeping duties include, but are not limited to, sweeping, laundry, dishes, vacuuming, dusting, light snow shoveling, light weeding and the like. This vital program has grown considerably over the past two years! Residents are already benefitting from the support services and subsided rates, but the program has the capacity to assist even more people. If you’re a County senior (or know of someone who is) who would benefit from this program, please apply today! Trained workers are standing by to help. For an application, please contact the County’s Community Services department.
