environmental health including outreach to other NJDOH divisions( Epidemiology, Environmental and Occupational Health and Family Health Services), NJ government agencies( NJDEP and Delaware River Basin Commission), local governments( city of Paulsboro and West Deptford), and a community organization( Delaware Riverkeeper Network) to ensure broad stakeholder input. Comprehensive communication and recruitment plans were developed through collaborations among the above organizations. Staggered recruitment avoided a large number of requests that could not be accommodated. Between September 1 and December 31, 2017, the project enrolled and sampled about 100 subjects. The project will rely on regular communications to retain participants over the remaining two years of the study. n
