environmental health including outreach to other NJDOH divisions ( Epidemiology , Environmental and Occupational Health and Family Health Services ), NJ government agencies ( NJDEP and Delaware River Basin Commission ), local governments ( city of Paulsboro and West Deptford ), and a community organization ( Delaware Riverkeeper Network ) to ensure broad stakeholder input . Comprehensive communication and recruitment plans were developed through collaborations among the above organizations . Staggered recruitment avoided a large number of requests that could not be accommodated . Between September 1 and December 31 , 2017 , the project enrolled and sampled about 100 subjects . The project will rely on regular communications to retain participants over the remaining two years of the study . n
