Cervical Cancer is cancer of
the cervix, which only
affects women.
One of the most commonly
known contributors to
cervical cancer are roughly
half a dozen non-symptomatic strands of HPV (Human
Papilloma Virus).
A vaccine is available to
prevent HPV. Ensure that
your girls are vaccinated
before age of sexual
activity.
See your gynecologist
regularly for a routine exam
(pap smear). Early
detection is the key to
successful treatment.
