The leathery skin of the mamon chino, vibrant red with black hairs, peels away to reveal smooth transparent grape like flesh that surrounds a small seed. While tasty, the juice will stain clothes a brownish color, so take care when munching on a mamon chino. Mamon chino is high in antioxidants and abundant in vitamin C.
