BARACK OBAMA Superando
obstáculos

Lourdez es una de nuestras mujeres
latinas que ha luchado por alcanzar una
buena posición en su comunidad. Con
su esposo y 3 hijos trabajan unidos para
que ella pueda servir a quienes la necesitan, permitiéndole más tiempo para
trabajar como voluntaria en diferentes
organizaciones en donde la encontramos
como miembro del club Willmar Leónes,
organización que ayuda a la comunidad
y especí?camente tienen un programa
de ayuda a personas con problemas en la
vista. Lourdez también sirve como Presidenta de Colaboración para la Fuerza
de Comunidades Latinas del Estado de
Minnesota., hace parte de la junta directiva del YMCA de Kandiyohi County,
del Área de Tránsito de Kandiyohi.

overcoming obstacles that has reached its climax, on November 4, 2008 after
winning the presidential election.

Schwab is one of our Latina women
who have struggled to reach a good position in their community. Her husband
along with three children work together so that she can serve those who need
it, allowing her more time to work as
a volunteer in di?erent organizations.
She is a member of the Lions Club, an
organization that helps the community; and speci?cally has a program
that helps people with vision problems.
Schwab also serves as the President
for the Collaboration of Strong Latino
Communities in the state of Minnesota. She is part of the board of directors
of the YMCA of Kandiyohi County, of
the transit area of Kandiyohi.
