This sumptuous floating palace combines the best of automation technologies and classy lines designed by architect Kurt Hofmann. Entirely made of wood, the five-star hotel has 40 luxurious pavilions including 24 on pilotis, offering a peaceful view of the Neuchâtel Lake and the Alps. Besides the usual facilities, each pavilion has, on a surface of 68m2, a jacuzzi and a private terrace with direct access to the lake. The dream continues at the restaurant La Table du Palafitte, which also features a beautiful terrace on the lakeside. Its menu is an invitation to experiment new sensations, combining vegetarian, traditional and Mediterranean cuisine. The chef of La Table du Palafitte attaches great importance to the quality of his products ; he changes the menu at the beginning of every new season. It can be difficult to imagine that the palace was initially a prototype created on the occasion of the Swiss National Exhibition in 2002, meant to reveal to the public the quality of the Swiss hotel industry. Extremely appreciated by the public, the Palafitte became a permanent hotel after a few regulatory changes. I 69 I 57 ‫الغـزالــــة‬
