IN CONVERSAZIONE CON
I CANNOLI DI BRISTOL
Ben points out that Italian sweet treats have not caught fire in the same way as Italian savoury cooking has here in the UK and it is their aim is to help this take off a little more, at least in Bristol.
In regards to people's familiarity
with cannoli Ben says “it's really
mixed - there are the cannoli
connoisseurs who are excited to
see us as it's so hard to find them
freshly-filled but they're also very
quick to check that ours are filled
with ricotta! Some are confused as
to why ours are so big because
they've only encountered the small
deli versions, and many people
have no idea what they are but are
intrigued and want to try something new, which is what street food is all about!”.

Their signature recipe is the result of time spent travelling around Sicily, specifically Ortigia, Noto, Cefalù and Taormina. Omaggi combine incredible produce from both Sicily and Somerset and you
can try their cannoli for yourself between 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturdays at the Bristol Harbourside Market.
