Eventually all this will end
You’ll say farewell to all your friends
People you got to know so well
And all the time together spent
And all the things you’d like to tell
And all the nights that seemed weekends
Or those evening sipping tea
Or your shared Italian meals
Like an animal into the wild
To catch it in a pic you would try
But gone - after you even realize,
or like a sudden flash of light
in a storm dimming the sky
Faster than a blink of an eye
Your Erasmus will pass by
So, live the moment! seize the day
Don’t regret a single drink
Don’t forget a single face
And when you’ll be far miles away
Of all this time you’ll come to think
And in your thoughts, you’ll find a trace
And you will know: it was worth the case!
