The interior of one of the many abandoned houses in Trona. This appears to have been the kitchen, based on its
location in the house, with a view into the backyard, and the original wallpaper still visible on the wall behind the door.
The wallpaper looks to be of a style found in the late 1940's to late 1950's. Whats amazing is that this wooden structure
is still standing and has not been blown apart by the strong desert winds, or been eaten away by termites. I cannot say
for sure, but I believe this to be one of the houses moved from Borosolvay to Trona in the early 1930's.
