For the third year running, KU
was again named an Employer of
Choice in the Australian Business
Awards. Coupled with an Employee
Net Promoter Score of +40 and a
sustained staff retention rate in
excess of 90%, this recognition is an
acknowledgement of the work we do
to attract, support, grow and retain
the best early childhood teachers
and educators. The impact of this
investment on quality outcomes for
children and families is evident by
more than a dozen nominations and
awards received by KU staff and
centres for prestigious professional
awards throughout the year.
Additionally, these public accolades
help raise the profile of our valuable
early childhood teachers and continue
to promote the status and standing of
the early childhood profession.
To assist us in planning for the future,
KU commissioned two major internal
research projects that will examine
the longer-term impact of family
centred practice and their leadership
for the 21 st century.
