Bjarke Ingels Group past year we have refined and improved on the diversity and inclusion policy we introduced in 2021 . For example , the policy now includes equal opportunities for maternity / paternity leave for mothers , fathers and co-parents . In 2023 , we will work towards a next-generation business model , scrutinising the concept of ‘ standard ’ or ‘ required ’ working hours as well as our bonus model . And that is not all . In 2023 , we will also put even greater focus on leadership and development and on making room for our employees to be whole human beings . Skilled professionals who are thriving personally as well as professionally . Read more about these plans on page 46 .
External input and inspiration Openness , insight and courage . That is the recipe for development and innovation . The legal profession , and the advisory / consultancy sector as a whole , is evolving in ways that require insight into and understanding of the new generations , the new challenges and opportunities presented to us by technology and , not least , the changes brought about by external factors .
The vision we live by is this : " We set the standard . Together ." To help us live up to that , and to launch new initiatives to take our business further , we have created our very own " KR Excellence Panel " – an advisory board composed of five talented business profiles :
• Sheela Maini Søgaard , CEO , Bjarke Ingels Group ( BIG )
• Niels Ahrengot , managing partner , Implement Consulting Group
• Malou Aamund , professional board member and former managing director of Google Denmark
• Anne Skare Nielsen , chief futurist , Universal Futurist
• Christian Skakkebæk , senior partner , Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners .
Established in the summer of 2022 , the panel lives on in 2023 . It is meant to inspire , challenge and advise us about the way we position ourselves in relation to clients , employees , the market , and society at large . All panel members come with insight into and opinions about professional services firms . Together with the panel , Kromann Reumert ’ s board of directors and partners will discuss relevant themes , seeking answers to the challenges of today ’ s world , to bring innovative solutions into play and to launch new initiatives . Managing partner Christina Bruun Geertsen is pleased with and proud of the panel :
" We have managed to put together a strong panel of five successful , innovative and competent business profiles . With their wide range of competencies , they are already proving an inspiration to us in our efforts to fulfil our vision . In our daily work , we generally have no shortage of external input , but what this panel gives us , and which is immensely valuable to us , is a chance to work even more systematically to draw in external insights and input to give added momentum to the development of our firm .”
Why are we here ? 2023 will also be the year when we will be tackling ourselves on a more profound level . What is our DNA ? Why are we here ? And what is it we want to do , together ? Of course , it is not that we have forgotten who we are all of a sudden . But we do believe there is something to be gained from challenging ourselves a little bit on these questions every now and again – so that we may still attract employees and clients who share our values and goals . Our goal of organic growth means we want to be more people . In 2022 , we increased our legal professionals headcount by 15 % and we expect to be welcoming even more colleagues into our firm in the coming years . Our employees in Aarhus will be moving into new , bigger and more modern accommodation come early 2025 , and we are already preparing for the relocation , discussing layout and interior design with members of our staff . Read more about our new sustainable office on page 42 . 2023 is shaping up to be truly a year of developments .
