Environment and climate

We have taken several initiatives to reduce our climate impact . This year , we will calculate our carbon footprint , telling us where we may need to take further action . At the moment , we see a downward trend in our consumption . Our IT department has outsourced parts of our server operations to an external provider , thus reducing our carbon emissions by almost 19 tonnes . Old IT equipment is disposed of via a certified disposal provider to minimise the amount of electronics waste .
Slightly falling consumption We see a downward trend in our consumption in general . We started 2022 from our home offices and were back again in February , so the 2022 figures may be slightly distorted by the corona virus . Only in 2023 will we be able to make a real comparison with 2019 and the pre-COVID 19 era .
On page 37 , you can read more about our contemplated carbon footprint calculation in 2023 .
Eco-friendly transport Nowadays , there are several ways to combine transport to and from the office and client visits – with minimal use of fossil fuels . In both Copenhagen and Aarhus , our offices are centrally located , making it easy for our employees to cycle to and from work . In both cities , our office is situated close to public transport by bus , train and metro .
We provide charging points at car parks in Copenhagen , and we have company bikes that are available to our employees when they have to go to meetings during the workday .
As a first priority , we always order zero-emission taxis for clients , guests and employees when needed . These are cars that run on electricity or hydrogen and have many advantages over traditional petrol- or diesel-powered taxis .
Company bikes are a great way of reducing our climate impact , improving the health and well-being of our employees – and saving money .
