The sustainable law firm of the future
Hitherto , we have in a so-called Communication on Progress reported annually on the ten UN Global Compact principles . We continue to support the UN Global Compact , of course , but the reporting tool has now been changed into a digital reporting tool . However , we wish to continue to give all our employees , clients and business partners an insight into our work on corporate social responsibility and sustainability and have therefore prepared an ESG report this year .
In the following pages , we will share our efforts to increase the sustainability and responsibility of our business practices . We all have a role to play in creating a better world , and our commitment to the UN Global Compact is a clear desire to make a difference .
Our use of the EcoVadis platform has given us insights into our strengths and weaknesses when it comes to sustainability work , and we are determined to continue to improve and to strengthen our sustainability performance . The platform has also formed the basis for our 2023 target of calculating a carbon footprint and preparing a subsequent ESG strategy for our future reporting within this area .
Our new Aarhus domicile is an exciting project that will allow us to create a modern and sustainable workplace . In 2022 , we became a member of the Green Building Council , which works to make Denmark a global leader in the sustainable transformation of buildings and cities for the benefit of humans and nature .
Throughout the year , we place significant emphasis on creating a sustainable work life and on continuous learning and development for our people . We have a strong focus on shaping the education of future lawyers ; whether as students or as graduate lawyers . We invest in talent and ensure their , and our own , continued success .
Besides working with our own internal ESG initiatives , Kromann Reumert has a clear ambition to contribute to a sustainable future through knowledge sharing and advice . We have action plans in place to help our clients prepare for the implementation of EU legislation .
