Rabbi Regina Sandler-Phillips( 1999) continues to offer " How to Mourn AND Organize " programs through Ways of Peace Community Resources. Recent programs have included Rivers of Babylon: Singing in a Strange Land, as well as peace walks to commemorate 9 / 11 and the Jerusalem Grove, NYC racial lynchings of 1863, and healing the historical wounds of August.

Cantor Rena Shapiro( 2001), Faculty Member recently presented a workshop titled“ Sh ' ma v ' Shir: Stories, Songs and Signs of Hope and Joy,” at the Women Cantors’ Network conference in Richmond, VA. She selected stories and articles from a collection she has been gathering for many years and paired them with thematically related songs to sing altogether.
