Cantor Molly May( 2025) received a Partners in Practice award at Duke Regional Hospital in the area of clinical colleague- direct patient care will be staying at Duke Regional Hospital for a second year in a chaplain fellowship, focusing on critical / intensive care and complex cases
Rabbi-Cantor Michael McCloskey( 2023), Faculty Member has been selected as 2026 Franz Rosenzweig scholar in Hermann Cohen’ s Religion of Reason out of the Sources of Judaism: A Guide for the Perplexed of Our Time( 1919). Summer Academy 2026, July 19 – July 24, Boston, MA, through the Auspices of the New Academy, Pardes, Clal, and the Goethe-Institut Boston recently finished a fellowship in the work of Neo-Kantian and Jewish philosopher, Hermann Cohen at The New Jewish Academy and won the 2026 Summer Forensic Competition for his talk“ Aufgabe: Vocation and the Problem,” which explored Cohen’ s Religion of Reason Out of the Sources of Judaism as an anchor for a revival of the prophetic tradition.
