communities. In fact, we need OTHER COUNCILS
to be aware of programs being undertaken by their
Brother Knights. I know of numerous activities
which Councils have carried out leading up to and
including Christmas, New Year and Valentine’s Day,
but I have yet to receive a report for inclusion on the
State website. Advertising your accomplishments is
not “bragging”. Send me…. before the end of March
… photos, “write-ups” and promos. I want them so
that your Brother Knights can be made aware, at the
State convention, how dynamic and successful your
Council is.
ONTARIO STATE CHARITY
GOLF TOURNAMENT:
This year it is being held on Friday May 30th,
at the Streetsville Glen Golf Club in Brampton.
The $100 registration includes green fees, cart and
a steak dinner. Any proceeds from the day will be
directed to the Ontario Knights of Columbus
Charity Foundation. The financial success of
any golf tournament depends on sponsors and
advertisers and this is where you, my Brothers,
come in. Commit to “opening the door” for us so
that we might make a presentation to potential
sponsors. We MUST have this completed before
the State Convention so mark it in your calendars.
Introduce us… we will do the rest.
