Americans give presents not only to family and friends, but to neighbours and colleagues too. It’s often a box of biscuits, which they make themselves. This homemade gift is a special treat. Santa Claus comes at night from 24th to 25th December, but of course you can take a photo with him earlier in malls. He travels with the sleigh drawn by reindeers. The most important one is the Red-nosed Rudolph. When children and their parents are sleeping, Santa Claus comes to their houses through the chimney and puts presents under the tree. He eats cookies and drinks a glass of milk, which were prepared by a householder earlier. Then, he comes back to his sleigh and reindeers to visit other children.
