RAF Regiment captain Josh Scott leads out the
team in Amsterdam.
Cobra's Pitbulls 16 RAF Regiment 88
The RAF Regiment opened their 75 years
Anniversary tour in Amsterdam on a hot
Saturday afternoon by blowing away a
combined Cobra's Pitbulls side.
The 88-16 score line showed the gulf between
the two sides and set the mark that the Dutch
teams have to look to if they are going compete
with the Regiment in the following two games.
Basic well executed rugby skills set the British
team up to clinically kill of the game in the first
twenty minutes.
Despite the host's rallying in the second half
the damage had been done and the score line
reflects the gap between the sides.
Tonight KDC are looking to put some pride
back into Dutch rugby and the players will be
hoping to impress the selectors for the final
game in Hardwerijk on Sunday when a NRLB
Select will take on the RAF boys to close their
tour.
