Most people are not comfortable with haggling about price, but when it comes to big-ticket events like weddings, you’d best have your best negotiating hat on. It may not be very romantic to be fighting for the most bang for your limited buck during the most romantic time of your life, but you can’t get away from it.

But think of it this way: You want the service providers / vendors on your side, to make the magic you have dreamed of, happen. Let us walk you through it

Do Your Homework

This is the most tedious, as it takes the most time. Visit as many providers as you can, and by all means, fall in love with number 3, but continue to number 6- and get written quotes from all six.

Now go back to number 3. If you are armed with information, and number 5 has the best deal, you can ask number 3 to bring down the price, or throw in extra’s to make up the difference to retain your business.

A good General goes to war with troops fully armed – just so, a good bride goes to vendors with facts in her file.
