Mr. Rahul Avasthy, Lead, Digital Marketing, Abbott

One of the official and exclusive student-driven
committees of SIMSR, the Guest Lecture
Committee, brings eminent personalities from
across the industry to campus to deliver guest
lectures.
This academic year, the Guest Lecture Committee
roped in Mr. Sunu Mathew, Founder and Managing
Director, LEAP INDIA Private Limited, who
delivered a lecture on “how to choose a
specialization” to provide a road map to all the first
year students with insights from his own corporate
journey. He briefed about the career cycles of
various specializations prevalent in corporate
world.
The other stalwart who mesmerized the students

through his use of lucid language was Mr. Rahul
Avasthy, Lead, Digital Marketing at Abbott. He gave
insights on rise of digital marketing as an industry
in India.
Also, Mr. R.V Balasubramaniam Iyer, VicePresident (Learning and Development Facilitator)
at Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, delivered a
lecture on the topic 'Sustaining Relevance with
