ACHIEVEMENTS: Prof. (Dr.) Monica Khanna
Prof (Dr) Monica Khanna has received the Award for Excellence in Teaching by K J Somaiya Institute of
Management Studies & Research in recognition of her performance in the area of teaching, research
and service to the Institute for the academic year 2013-14 on 5th Sept 2014 (Teacher's Day). She also
received the Provost's Award for Excellence in Teaching on Founder's Day Celebrations of Somaiya
Vidyavihar held on 9th Sept 2014, for being the Best Teacher in the management Institute for the
academic year 2013-14.
Invitation to be a book reviewer to the Indian adaptation of the book on "Consumer Behavior" by Leon G.

Another important recognition of Prof Monica's professional competence was when she was invited to
be one of the book reviewers of the Indian adaptation of the book on "Consumer Behavior" by Leon G.
Schiffman, Joseph Wisenblit and S. Ramesh Kumar, 11th Edition, Pearson Education, and her expert
comments were published on the back cover of the book. This book on Consumer Behavior is one of the
best text books on the subject.
