instreet had the privilege of hosting an interaction on 'Stock piling - Insights from Academic Research'

facilitated by Dr. Partha S. Mohanram (CGA Ontario Professor of Financial Accounting, Rotman School of
Management, University of Toronto) on August 22, 2014, Friday.
The event was organised in two phases - The morning session for the finance students of SIMSR and the
afternoon session for the faculty members and research scholars.
We take this opportunity to thank Dr. Partha S. Mohanram for his valuable time and all the students and
faculty members for their enthusiastic participation and making the event a huge success.
Dr. Partha S. Mohanram holds a Ph.D. in Business Economics (1999) from Harvard University. An MBA
(1992) in Finance and Operations from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He holds a B.Tech
(1990) in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Currently he is a full-time Professor at Rotman School of Management - University of Toronto. Earlier, he
has been an Assistant Professor at Graduate School of Business (Columbia University) and Stern School
of Business (New York University). He was a research associate at the Harvard Business School from 1992
to 1996.
