Additionally , they chose to expand both bathrooms . “ A new entranceway into the ensuite was made through the principal bedroom . We used a frosted pocket door to allow natural light from the bedroom to filter into the bathroom ,” says Elliottt . The ensuite now includes a spacious shower , custom double vanity , and freestanding tub . “ In the second bedroom ’ s ensuite , we changed the entrance way , which made the space larger , more functional , and more private .”
Similarly , the homeowners opened up the kitchen by removing a section of the wall , the upper cabinetry , and extending the countertop to allow for seating .
