Applova launches self-
ordering kiosk with a
kitchen display system for
Elo touchscreen displays
Applova, a fintech provider specialising in ordering
and engagement technologies has launched
Applova Kiosk with kitchen display system (KDS)
for Elo Touchscreen displays. This new offering
provides quick-service restaurants (QSRs) and
retailers with an easy to deploy solution to capture
additional sales driven by self-serve ordering while
remaining competitive in what’s becoming an
increasingly technology-driven marketplace.
“We are excited to release Applova Kiosk with
KDS on Elo Touchscreen displays to empower
QSRs and retailers with smart and innovative
technology at an affordable price point,” said
Applova CEO & Founder Dinesh Saparamadu. “This
sophisticated solution improves overall restaurant
efficiency, increases sales, reduces operational
costs and greatly supports food waste reduction
efforts,” added Saparamadu. “Kiosks also delight
customers and provide significant business ROI.”
Applova Kiosk is designed to streamline
restaurant operations, integrating directly with
KDS, public announcement (PA) and point
of sale (POS) systems while automatically
synchronizing data in real-time as orders occur.
Integration leverages the functional richness of
individual systems to create a highly productive
and collaborative technology ecosystem. With
Applova Kiosk, establishments can quickly, easily
and affordably leverage self-service technology
to increase revenue and customer satisfaction,
improve efficiency, all while reducing operational
costs and food waste. n

Absen Names Audio Visual
Distributors as Australian VAD
Absen has welcomed Australia’s Audio Visual Distributors (AVD)
into its Value Added Distributor (VAD) network. The agreement,
which became effective on 18 September 2019, will see AVD
promote Absen LED products across the Australasian region and
provide training for local end-users, as well as exhibiting Absen
products at relevant trade fairs and roadshows.
“We pay particular attention to strategically aligning ourselves
with quality manufacturers who deliver innovative, market-leading
products,” said Blair Terrace, business development – LED displays
at AVD. “We believe that the quality range of products from Absen
is well suited to the vertical markets we support. The continual
R&D and technical innovation of Absen’s LED ensure our customer
base is exposed to a constant stream of fresh and exciting
products.”
Terrace continued: “LED has become an increasingly requested
product within the commercial AV space in this region. More and
more corporate boardrooms, retail applications and performing
arts / cultural venues are requesting LED installations, while the
rental and events market is continuing to grow. In particular, the
demand for higher resolution LED screens is becoming greater
every year. With the innovation Absen has in the 1.5mm-0.9mm
pixel pitch bracket, we are now well-positioned to offer quality,
well-priced products specific to these applications.” n
