School-wide Thanksgiving Food Drive
It was all hands on deck for Saint David ’ s 57th Thanksgiving Food Drive . The fundraising campaign , led by the eighth grade resulted in 154 boxes of grocery items , 100 turkeys , 100 pounds of bacon and breakfast sausage . In addition , more than 600 pies were ordered to help fund the drive . The grocery baskets were delivered the day before Thanksgiving to the Lion of Judah Assembly and to the Bethel Community Church , sponsored by staff members Stanley Livingston and William Best , respectively .
Sharing God ’ s Love
Boys in Grades One through Three wrote and designed a holiday card for our friends at God ’ s Love We Deliver , an organization providing meals for individuals and families who are experiencing medical hardships . “ These cards will have a lasting impact on the lives of their recipients , and are another way our boys have spread kindness this year ,” said Assistant Head of Lower School Nick Imbelli ’ 99 .
