Page 2 Editorial: Dear Friends, warm greetings from Germany. We have taken the first step, now it is time to consolidate success. Following the splendid launch of Kids India last year, it is my great pleasure and honour to invite you to the second Kids India in Mumbai from 18 to 20.9.2014. The premiere of Kids India was an outstanding experience for my team and myself. Obviously we were aware of the encouraging market data when we organized Kids India. However it was not until we received the excellent feedback from exhibitors and visitors that we truly appreciated that Kids India has become one of the most important business platforms in the Indian toy industry. Statements like: “I'm amazed at the huge opportunities presented here“ or “Our expectations were fulfilled by 100%“ have reinforced our decision to enter the Indian market. So it is hardly surprising that several exhibitors signed up for the next fair during Kids India. Many exhibitors were particularly impressed by the quality of the visitors. They include numerous decision-makers with the authority to close deals. Many new companies are also keen to present themselves at the international trade fair. Due to strong demand we therefore intend to increase the exhibition space from 6,200 m² to 8,000 m² for the next edition of Kids India. I should like to extend my warm thanks to all players involved in this success. It shows us that we got our fair organisation right, and that the Indian market has accepted its new international trade fair. We are currently planning the second Kids India, which will take place from 18 to 20 September. This year we will once more offer the Indian toy industry a perfectly organised platform where they can make new contacts and do business. Similarly, we are again familiar with the positive situation on the Indian toy market, which we cultivate for your benefit. I greatly look forward to organising a successful second Kids India with you, my team and our partners, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, the Sports Goods Export Promotion Council (SGEPC) and The All India Toy Manufacturers’ Association (TAITMA).
