Page 2 Editorial: Dear friends, warm greetings from Germany. Kids India is expanding its exhibition area, adding a hall to accommodate growing demand. The trade fair is also being organised for the first time by Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd., the subsidiary recently established by Spielwarenmesse eG. As at the last three successful events, the fair will continue to benefit from the support of our trusted partners: the IGCC (Indo-German Chamber of Commerce), the SGEPC (Sports Goods Export Promotion Council) and TAITMA (The All India Toy Manufacturers’ Association). In the space of just three years, which in the lifetime of an international trade fair is no more than a drop in the ocean, Kids India has evolved into an essential date in the exhibition diaries of many industry players, both large and small. Accordingly, we are delighted to see the return of prolific companies such as Mattel, Artsana Chicco, Chirantan Enterprises, Jasco Handicrafts, Pegasus Toy-Kraft, Funskool and many more – along with an abundance of newcomers and start-ups. Unveiling their toy visions and innovations at the Mumbai Convention and Exhibition Centre, it is precisely these exhibitors who will shape and transform tomorrow’s market.
