With the boundary between real and virtual worlds

body. Internationally, Tech Toys came into trend a
while ago but for India it is now the right time as digita-
lization is presently at its highest peak and children
being more and more tech savvy along with the
parents.

definitely changing. Parents are starting to realize the
importance of play time and are increasingly looking

Back to School was first launched at Kids India 2016.
Since Back to School articles have a demand
throughout the year most of the retailers are now
getting more and more interested in stocking this
product group at their stores. This special area is
targeting attendees who are interested in school and
stationery articles.
As an industry platform, Kids India is also the knowl-
edge sharing base for industry relevant topics. At the
seminar area, there are continuous discussions and
seminars going on simultaneously with the fair which
attendees can be a part of anytime throughout the 3
days. The topics are published 15 days in advance at
the website so attendees can plan their visit accord-
ingly. “Kids India is an absolute essential for anyone

who deals in children’s products in order to keep up
with the constant changes that our industry is going
though constantly. The best way to deal with any new
change in the industry is to stay up to date and
discuss it amongst each other and with industry

site as well as panel discussions prior to the fair” men-

turers' Association (TAITMA), one of the supporting
organizations of Kids India.

representatives ensures the ever-increasing interna-
tionality of Kids India as well. In its efforts to boost the
domestic industry, the Government of India will once
again offer ‘International Buyers Program’ wherein
visiting foreign buyers can obtain a reimbursement on
their travel expenses when they visit Kids India. The
programme which is initiated by one of the supporting
organizations of Kids India, the Sports Goods Export
Promotion Council of India (SGEPC) encourages inter-
national buyers to come to India to promote exports.
"The online visitor registration for Kids India has start-
ed already and we are expecting a lot of visitors espe-
cially from the region i.e. Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam,
Thailand, Nepal as well as from the Africa.” says Mr.
Tarun Dewan, Executive Director, SGEPC.
Kids India, therefore is a chance to connect with not
just Indian players but a global platform for the indus-
try.
