Board games have been an integral part of Indian gaming scenario since time immemorial . Infact many ancient board games of India like Pallanguli , Pachisi , Chaturanga , Chauka Bara etc . have evolved into modern day Chess and Ludo .
Today the board games segment is among the top 5 products sold by the toy Industry forming a market share of 5.1 %. The global board games market size is expected to reach USD 30 billion by 2026 , growing at a CAGR of 13 %. Despite intense competition from digital entertainment , board games have been experiencing popularity .
Puzzles have remained an exciting and most dominating source of board game products apart from intriguing and interesting they also have an educational value for children in several age groups .
