What should Indian Board Game Manufacturers consider while targeting these regions and countries ?
I think the most important factor that Indian board gaming manufacturers need to focus on is quality . As an industry , we need to use the right type of premium materials and ensure that the games have a great finish . Compromising quality for cost and cutting corners is something we should definitely avoid .
We should also ensure that the game design is up to international standards . Working with good illustrators and designers is also extremely vital and something that I often see lacking in Indian-made games and toys .
The experience of participating in Spielwarenmesse 2020 was absolutely fantastic and a huge eye-opener . We got a first-hand insight into how big the games & toy industry actually is . We got the opportunity to interact with buyers from across the globe and it helped us understand what the international market was looking for .
