The unique approach of Luma world towards the development of toys has led to the company winning the National Startup Awards 2021 in Education and Skill Development under the ‘ Toys as learning resource ’ category by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry - DPIIT & Government of India . The company was 1 of 5 startups out of 2177 to win for education and the only winner in toys and games for learning . Team Kids India had an exceptional opportunity to connect with Tejasvi Bongirwar Musale , Co-founder & CEO of Luma World , to understand their mantra of success and the advice they would like to give to the new and budding entrepreneurs . Tejasvi shared with us her take on value of playing .
Play is nature ’ s way of teaching the young to think and grow . As adults , play helps us understand our external environment , improve social skills and relax . However , for kids , play is a full-time work . It is the most constructive way they explore and interact with the world around them . It helps them learn new skills , expand their imagination and develop emotional quotient . The freedom associated with play and its voluntary nature helps children understand themselves better - their limits , their strengths and their preferences . It helps them make personal choices that express their individuality and talent with aplomb . As O .
