The 72nd edition of the world ’ s leading trade fair for toys , hobby and leisure products is set to open its doors from 2 - 6 February 2022 in Nuremberg , Germany . As the largest and most important event of the year , the toy fair in Nuremberg brings together all international decision-makers . Well-known brands , trendy start-ups , buyers for major chains , independent retailers and large numbers of media representatives combine to make the Spielwarenmesse ® a unique event for all players in the toys and games market . Specialist retailers , buyers , exhibitors , media representatives – all are longing to meet up again in person at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre at the key meeting point for the toy industry .
The trade fair provides a comprehensive communication and business platform for manufacturers from all over the world . The presentation of innovations and the extensive industry overview are a valuable source of information for buyers and retailers from 132 nations , helping them to understand the market and how it is evolving every year .
“ In the toy sector in particular , there is just no substitute for face-to-face communication . The visitor has to actually be there to experience the products with all the senses and to develop new business relationships . Currently the retailers can expect to encounter 1,800 leading producers and innovative startups from 64 different countries , including all of the market leaders . The atmosphere in the industry is exceptionally positive at present . As far as retailers are concerned , willingness to make the journey is similarly massive – a representative survey of visitors by Spielwarenmesse eG found a clear vote in favour of attendance , with 77 % planning a visit to Nuremberg .
To ensure that the Spielwarenmesse ® runs smoothly , a sound and workable hygiene plan has been developed in consultation with the health authorities and the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre .
The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce , as the official representative of the fair in India , supports the Indian exhibitors and business visitors interested in attending Spielwarenmesse ® .
