On the other hand, I selected Physics this year as one of my courses which I thought wouldn’t be an interesting course, but I chose it because it was a course that is recommended if you want to pursue in a science education. I thought it would just be a harder version of math or science so I was scared to see what it was like. Instead, it is a very interesting class because you learn about real life applications and how to find solutions to things that we are able to relate to. I find it intriguing to learn about things that we come face to face with on a daily basis because it is easier to understand and connect with the problems to find an answer. Unlike math, where we will often not even see some of the equations that we must use, physics is different because we might actually have to deal with some of the situations.

I believe that a mandatory physical education course in order to graduate is a sufficient policy to have at GSS because some people may not ever think they would like or be good at a specific sport like soccer or even simply a game like dodge ball, until they’ve taken one of these kinds of courses. Also, it is a good way to keep students physically active and give them opportunities for future preferences at school, or even outside of school. It is a good way to ensure that students get a chance to have a break from stress in their other classes.
