The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - What Kind of realtionship are you in?

GOOD:

•Honesty – the quality of trust is a significant part of a good relationship. It means that you can always tell the truth without feeling judged. A healthy relationship consists of understanding your partner when they tell you anything by listening.

•Communication – to be able to positively communicate with a partner means that you can get along and make the relationship last. Being comfortable enough to tell him/her anything within the relationship creates a successful one.

•Commitment – you have to be able to stay with the person and not cheat or think about being with anyone else. Being fully engaged in your significant other is a good thing to have in a successful relationship.

BAD:

•Disrespect – treating your partner as if they aren’t important can create a bad relationship. If you are hurting, mistreating or putting down your partner, there are definitely problems. A non-supportive partner means that they are disrespectful and that is not what a healthy relationship looks like.

•Lack of communication - Lack of communication can make a romantic relationship turn into a bad relationship because this keeps both you and your partner from having a clear understanding of what is really going on and why a certain problem is happening.

•No space – When you are together too much, you run the risk of feeling smothered and risk not having enough to talk about when together, which leads to arguments.
