• Aubie Knight , IIANC and 101 Weston Labs , presented the history of insurance and focused on how agent behavior has adapted to tech advancements over time . Agencies continue to evolve and grow if they are willing and able to enhance the customer experience as tech changes and evolves over time . Those agent ’ s that aren ’ t willing to adapt will eventually get left behind .
• LAVA marketing and Agency Zoom classes provided insight on how the CRM is the focal point with customer interactions in the top agencies across the country . While an AMS system is still extremely important , the automation and frequency of customer contact is vital to winning the trust of customers and all of that is done through a CRM . Writing new business and conversion dramatically increases with automated touch points during the sales cycle & also during the first 90 days of onboarding .
• ClientCircle offers a program called “ Journeys ” for increased agency retention and crossselling . the short version is that agents create personas and segment out customers . This will then determine how customers are programmed for automated emails , texts , or phone calls . Personalizing any communication effort is key .

There are tech companies available that focus specifically on prospecting , quoting , service , referrals , etc .. basically , there is a tech company available for any aspect of any agencies operation . This event undoubtedly served as another catalyst for driving the insurance industry towards a digitally empowered future .
