BEST PRACTICES INSIGHTS FROM KAIA MEMBER AGENCIES HEAR FROM SIX KS BEST PRACTICES AGENCIES

We are proud to have 11 Best Practices agencies as KAIA members. To learn more about how the Study impacts their agencies and how they utilize its results, we talked with several of those members to get their insights.
Why was it important to you to take the time and resources to participate in the Best Practices Study?
Chris Conrade, Conrade Insurance Group: " As an agency that greatly values our independence, we don’ t have a lot of access to comparable peer data. The Best Practices Study provides us with excellent information in terms of what reasonable / attainable margin and growth targets should be. We’ ve participated in the study for 10 years and I attribute much of the progress we have made to simply knowing what we want to accomplish is possible as evidenced by other agencies actually doing it."
Lyle Davidson, The Davidson Agency: " We have been nominated for the Best Practices survey and have been completing it each term since 2010. We feel this is critical information for us to have in order to benchmark ourselves with our peers and agencies we highly respect. In the end, it affects our decision making and our goal setting."
