' 26 ANNUAL CONVENTION RECAP by Karlyn Raleigh, KAIA

The 2026 KAIA Annual Convention took place February 2 – 4 in Wichita, KS, bringing together 642 insurance professionals from across the state for three days of education, advocacy, networking, and celebration. With 19 educational sessions and a trade show featuring 82 booths, this year’ s event once again demonstrated the strength and momentum of the Kansas insurance community.
This year’ s theme,“ Charging Into the Future: Technology, Tenacity, Transformation,” set the tone for a forward-focused and celebratory convention. Attendees explored emerging technologies, navigated evolving market challenges, and embraced strategies designed to help agencies adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing industry landscape. The theme was woven throughout the educational sessions and events, reinforcing the resilience and innovation that define independent agents in Kansas.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, more than $ 6,000 was raised to provide 10 care packages for families with children battling cancer.
