▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ AGENCY GROWTH AND PROTECTION ▸ ▸ COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall – Attended by over 175 members, KAIA staff provided updates on the COVID-related legislation, regulatory information, and guidance on tools that will be helpful to agencies. The Trusted Choice® COVID-19 Relief Fund provided nearly $21,000 of critical relief to Kansas independent insurance agencies and their owners and employees experiencing economic disruption, loss or financial distress as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Supported the Paycheck Protection Program legislation along with sharing resources and answering questions about additional capital funding resources for agencies and their clients during the pandemic. Provided agent education and client communication resources related to insurance issues impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including coverage explanations. We regularly met with the Kansas Insurance Department to provide new agency licensing solutions during the pandemic and create a more convenient and increased number of testing facilities across the state along with resources for new agent fingerprinting. Key Considerations to Re-opening your Agency - Held webinar featuring HR and legal experts to explore how to safely re-open agencies during the pandemic. Provided valuable agency E&O risk management information to help agencies reduce the exposure to E&O claims and effectively communicate coverage implications to customers during the pandemic. ASCK market access programs generated a total of over $800K in commission revenue for members. Provided members with access to EMC to write their local schools and municipalities, generating approximately $340K in commission revenue for them. ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ ▸ NEW MEMBER PROGRAMS: ▸ ▸ ▸ We rolled out personal, commercial, and farm access to Nationwide’s suite of products, generating $50K in member commission revenue. Continue to grow the MetLife market access program generating $162K in member commission revenue. We rolled out access to Safeco’s personal lines product offering. We have expanded the number of members utilizing our exclusive, market-leading E&O program with Swiss Re/Westport with 18 new policyholders. Increased the number of agencies utilizing the Coalition cyber program for their agency’s coverage and to offer to their customers. Continued to provide members with E&O risk management solutions such as the E&O Happens website, in-house E&O seminars, website reviews, and E&O operational improvement reviews. Rolled out Big “I” Hires with talent and recruitment tools. Introduced ePayPolicy, a cost-efficient and convenient way to streamline collections of premiums. Partnered with IntellAgent to offer affordable agency valuation services, to provide the member salary survey and Compensation Report, and the RISE agency operations benchmarking report.
