homeowners, private passenger auto, and farm owners’
multiple peril written premiums. In 2019, the total personal
lines marketplace group premiums were $3.514B. This
represents a 3.28% increase from 2018.
MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY
In 2019, the written premium in the medical professional
marketplace experienced a year-over-year increase of
9.25%, finishing at $70M. The direct combined loss ratio
remained above 100%.
