PROF. DEVELOPMENT custom deployments with agencies and carriers— where AlliBot can access internal documents from platforms like SharePoint and provide real-time answers based on their own policies, procedures, and workflows.
Adoption has been promising, especially among early adopters and innovation-forward agencies, but there’ s still so much potential. As we continue to test, learn, and refine, we welcome broader use. Feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’ re committed to making AlliBot an indispensable partner in the modern insurance professional’ s toolkit.
Q: What are you seeing as emerging opportunities for risk and insurance education? What can you tell us about new options like RiskPRO?
A: The marketplace is demanding more specialization— and we’ re responding. That’ s why we’ ve launched RiskPRO, a series of industry-specific certifications that allow professionals to demonstrate their expertise in particular segments. So far, we’ ve rolled out Contractors RiskPRO and Restaurant RiskPRO, and we have plans to launch a dozen or more over the next couple of years— covering areas like hospitality, nonprofits, manufacturing and beyond.
Each RiskPRO certification requires participation in a 16-hour, instructor-led live webinar series, engagement with case studies, and passing a 100-question exam. It’ s a rigorous but practical path to mastery.
We’ ve also introduced the Certified Insurance & Risk Professional( CIRP) designation, exclusively to corporate clients this year, designed specifically for new Commercial Lines producers. It offers five foundational courses: Elements of Risk Management, Commercial Property, Commercial Casualty I, Commercial Casualty II, and Dynamics of Selling. CIRP gives new producers the technical competence— and confidence— they need to thrive.
Q: What should Big I members know – that maybe they don’ t already – about their opportunities for professional development?
A: We’ re expanding how Big I members access our education. Historically, many Big I members have known us primarily through CIC and CISR. While those flagship designations remain pillars of what we do, now Big I state associations are beginning to promote all of our Alliance programs— including our“ Intro Series” for new hires, the“ ACORD Forms Series,” and a growing library of high-quality CE courses across commercial and personal lines topics. Big I members should also know about our three annual subscription models. For example, we have a $ 28 / month Intermediate option that gives new team members everything they need to onboard confidently— plus the opportunity to earn their CISR designation in the first 12 months. It’ s a tremendous value, especially for smaller agencies looking to invest in staff development without breaking the budget.
Q: Anything else you’ d like to share for our audience?
A: Yes— our industry urgently needs to invest in early career talent. The pipeline is shrinking, and we need to fill it with capable, curious, and motivated people. That’ s why we’ ve developed high school and university programming through our Emerging Talent Partners Program. We’ d love to work with more agencies to bring these programs into their communities— whether through mentoring, guest speaking, internship pathways, or co-hosted events. It’ s one of the best long-term investments we can make as an industry.
