Where is industry education headed for insurance? What will the world of CE look like over the next 5-10 years? We talked with Will Hold, the president & CEO at the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance, about what they ' re seeing on the horizon.

Q: Let’ s start with the organizations name change, Will. We are a little over a year into the“ Risk & Insurance Education Alliance” – how has that impacted the organization?
A: We’ ve definitely seen that people who’ ve known us for decades as“ The National Alliance” still use that name, which is completely fine. That legacy is part of who we are. But with new clients, younger professionals, and emerging talent entering the industry, the name“ Risk & Insurance Education Alliance” and the url riskeducation. org is resonating in powerful ways. The word“ Alliance” still plays a central role in our identity, but the new name more clearly reflects our purpose and what we offer today: education, connection, and collaboration across the risk and insurance landscape. Even among longtime participants, designees, and clients, the rebrand has caused a positive moment of reflection— many are taking a fresh look at our expanding catalog of programs and offerings.
Q: You’ ve been doing a lot of innovation in recent years, including the launch of your AI“ knowledge bot”, AlliBot. Can you tell us more about your goals for AlliBot and what you’ re seeing with its adoption and use by insurance professionals?
A: Our vision for AlliBot is to give risk & insurance professionals an affordable, reliable tool that boosts their technical knowledge and productivity in a world driven by technology. We’ ve embedded AlliBot with the most relevant educational content from our curriculum so that users can get immediate, credible answers when they need them. We’ re currently piloting a policy comparison tool and exploring
