KAIA ’ s recent member survey results revealed that members want some help in the areas of agency operations and producer management / accountability . The content of this magazine is a great example how we utilize survey results to provide members with the information they want and need .
This edition of the magazine focuses on agency management issues such as time management for producers , remaining compliant with employment laws for remote workers , and the impact of market conditions on the agency .
In addition , it touches on the key benefits of having a procedures manual . Members now have access to a sample agency procedures manual template designed for both personal and commercial lines workflow . This is a starting point that you must customize based on your agency ’ s specific needs . Reach out to a member of KAIA ’ s staff if you need help with implementing or managing your workflows and procedures .
Finally , a summary of the member survey results is included . Thank you to all that completed survey as I cannot understate how important this is information is to KAIA volunteer leaders and staff . While there are challenges , together we can overcome them . I am confident that independent agents are the best positioned to serve their customers when it comes to changes in carrier appetite , a slowing economy , and hardening market conditions . The future of the independent agency channel is brighter than ever .
