Check Out Our New Logo
A refreshed look our members can take pride in.
e are happy to share
with our members that
we have created a new
logo for KAIA. When creating
the logo we wanted to develop
something that brought in
our Kansas roots but not stray
too far away from where we
currently are. While many other
Big “I” state associations have
spent a lot of time analyzing
their brand name, it is clear
that our members, industry
partners, and legislators
recognize the KAIA name. • Leadership: KAIA is a leader
in the insurance industry
providing direction for
members and the communities
of Kansas.
• Vision: Balanced forward-
thinking vision utilizing
experience, knowledge and
research to position our
members to be successful over
the long-term.
• Protect: Advocating for the
interests of our members to
protect the value they bring to
the communities of Kansas.
We will have several iterations
of the logo as seen to the right.
Our primary logo will include
Trusted Choice, the national
consumer brand created by the
Big “I” national association.
We also have a version with an
outline of the state of Kansas.
Both will include a wheat stalk,
a nod to our agricultural roots
and symbolic of abundance
and life. Also, included in the
logo are the words “Trust”,
“Leadership”, “Vison”, and
“Protect”. These words embody
the guiding principles for
KAIA and are described here: Many members remember the days
of the Big “I” logo. While it was a bit
before my time, I’ve heard member
agents speak fondly of the days of
Raymond Burr as the spokesperson
for independent agents. So many
appreciated the old Big “I” logo
which was used, not only for a
consumer brand, but it was also
widely recognized within the
industry. Members utilized the logo
to show that they were involved and
invested in their industry. While the
Trusted Choice brand continues
to be a huge benefit for creating
recognition with consumers, my
hope is that the new KAIA logo can
supplement it and be used by our
member agents to show the public
and Industry Partners that they
support the independent agent
system in KS. I compare it to sitting
in the dentist’s waiting room and
seeing a sign in the window, “A
Proud Member of the American

• Trust: We want members to
place their trust in us, knowing
that we support and facilitate
their long-term success along
with confidence in how we
utilize their membership
investment in KAIA.

feel a little bit better that they are
staying abreast of the latest in trends
and care about their professional
development.
We hope you like our new logo,
and be on the lookout for a new
one for ASCK in the near future. At
a minimum, when you see KAIA’s
logo we hope it will inspire you with
a feeling of pride in your industry
and that you feel supported by
KAIA staff, realizing that we are
working tirelessly to support our
member agents.
