In the heart of the Bohemien district of Barranco you can find the gallery Lucia de la Puente. This is one of the older of the Contemporary Galleries in Lima and it has a A list of patrons. The Gallery host exhibits by its own stable of artists and so it often seems to be repetitive in the selection it has. The revolving list of artists limits the variety, but it is still one of the cities best known galleries.

Delbarrio Gallery in Chorillos is one of my favorite Galleries in Lima. It is not pretentious and the atmosphere in this antiquated building is pleasant and warm. The owner has heart and cares for the artists and the clients and also for the future of the art scene in Lima. The Gallery hosts a wide range of artists’ works and exhibits with thematic shows that express the philosophy of the owner, and offer an eclectic body of works year round!
