How The Game Is Played OBJECT OF THE GAME: To be the first player to reach HOME SAFE IS A WINNER. EQUIPMENT: Playing board, six playing pieces, one dice and a set of game cards HOW TO PLAY THE GAME Read and talk about the questions and answers with a grown-up. If more than 6 children are playing then teams must be formed. Place all the game cards where everybody can reach them. Each player chooses a playing piece and places it at the 'Start' line. Roll the dice to see who goes first. The highest number starts, and the player to the left goes next in clockwise order. The first player rolls the dice to see how many spaces to move. The player then moves the playing piece forward. The next player (to the left) picks up the top card and reads the question to the first player. If the player answers correctly, the piece is moved ahead another two places. If the answer is wrong, the piece is moved back one place, The card is placed at the bottom of the pack. Each player is asked only one question during each turn. There are no extra turns for correct answers. All the instructions in the spaces must be obeyed.
