After a year of lots of hard work and fundraising, Josh, Katie, Evie and Ellie were delighted to welcome ‘Sandy’ from the Society into Assembly to present a cheque for an incredible £10,000. An enormous ‘Well done!’ to the Kew College community for their support of the school charity. Each year at Kew College, we elect a charity to support. We created a PowerPoint presentation which we delivered to our Houses along with 4 other groups. They voted for their favourite and we were lucky enough to make it to the finals. In the finals, we presented to the whole Junior House alongside the other three House finalists for the charities: The Royal Brompton Hospital, JDRF and Small Steps. We were thrilled that everyone thought our proposal for REACT was good and chose us! We’re glad we’ll be supporting a local charity this year and have lots of ideas about how to fundraise.
